If you recently enabled LiteSpeed Cache → Load JavaScript = Delayed to improve your Google PageSpeed score and suddenly your WoodMart mobile menu stopped working, you’re not alone.
I faced exactly the same problem on my WooCommerce website, and after spending several hours testing different solutions, I finally found the official fix provided by the WoodMart developers themselves.
This guide will save you hours of trial and error.
The Problem
After enabling:
LiteSpeed Cache → Page Optimization → JS → Load JS = Delayed
everything looked fine except the mobile menu.
I experienced all of these issues:
- Hamburger menu did not open.
- Sometimes it opened after 3–4 taps.
- Sometimes it didn’t respond at all.
- Desktop menu worked perfectly.
- As soon as I disabled Delay JavaScript, the menu started working again.
Clearly, the issue was related to JavaScript Delay.
What I Tried (None of These Worked)
Like most users, I searched Google and YouTube.
Almost every tutorial suggested excluding only a few scripts such as:
- jquery
- mobileNavigation
- menuSetUp
- helpers
I tried excluding them one by one.
I also tried excluding different combinations.
The menu was still broken.
Some people even suggested excluding the entire folder:
wp-content/themes/woodmart/js/
Yes, that works.
But it’s a bad solution because it disables JavaScript Delay for every WoodMart script, reducing the performance benefits.
I wanted the correct solution, not a workaround.
How I Found the Real Solution
Instead of guessing script names, I started looking inside the WoodMart theme files.
Eventually I found this file:
/wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/integrations/rocket.php
This file contains WoodMart’s official integration for WP Rocket.
Inside it I found a function called:
woodmart_rocket_add_delay_js_exclusions()
This function contains the official list of JavaScript files that should never be delayed.
At that moment everything made sense.
Although this integration is written for WP Rocket, the same exclusion list works perfectly with LiteSpeed Cache because both plugins use JavaScript Delay exclusions.
The Official WoodMart Delay JS Exclusion List
Paste the following entries into:
LiteSpeed Cache → Page Optimization → Tuning → JS Delayed Excludes
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
helpers
scrollBar
clickOnScrollButton
searchFullScreen
menuOffsets
menuStickyOffsets
menuOverlay
menuDropdowns
clearSearch
cartWidget
cart-fragments
mobileNavigation

WP Rocket Users
If you’re using WP Rocket, you don’t need to manually copy this list.
Simply go to:
WoodMart → Theme Settings → Performance → Plugins
Enable:
WP Rocket Delay JS Exclusions
That’s it.
WoodMart will automatically send the correct exclusion list to WP Rocket.
Why This Works
WoodMart’s mobile navigation doesn’t depend on just one JavaScript file.
The menu initialization requires several helper modules.
If LiteSpeed delays any of these required scripts, the mobile menu never initializes correctly.
That’s why excluding only mobileNavigation or jquery doesn’t solve the issue.
The official list includes every dependency required by the theme.
Final Result
After adding the official exclusion list:
- ✅ Mobile menu opens instantly.
- ✅ Delay JavaScript remains enabled.
- ✅ Better PageSpeed score.
- ✅ No need to exclude the entire WoodMart JavaScript folder.
- ✅ WooCommerce and WoodMart continue working normally.
Final Recommendation
If you’re using WoodMart + LiteSpeed Cache, don’t waste time copying random exclusion lists from forums or YouTube videos.
Use the official exclusion list already provided by the WoodMart developers.
You can always find the latest version here:
/wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/integrations/rocket.php
Whenever WoodMart releases a new update, check this file because the developers may add new JavaScript modules to the exclusion list.
Conclusion
This issue isn’t caused by LiteSpeed Cache itself. It’s caused by delaying JavaScript files that WoodMart needs to initialize its mobile navigation.
Using the official WoodMart exclusion list gives you the best of both worlds:
- Excellent PageSpeed optimization
- Fully functional mobile menu
No hacks, no guessing, and no unnecessary exclusions.
